Children need to learn to manage their emotions. When children are more emotionally aware and skilled, they can more effectively navigate relationships, stay calm and problem solve when challenges arise. This Emotions Management activity board allows 2 types of adult-child interaction. First, we can require children to identify their feeling and ask them to rotate the “What to do” wheel. For example, “When I am sad, I will listen to music”. The other way is to choose and emotion and then ask the children to tell how they feel and what they will do.
